Gn2p is a travelling interdisciplinary research-educational project that connects critical thinking of the city, production of city-specific works by recognised contemporary artists, education of youth through workshops with artists and audience development. Project is strategically aimed towards networking of the participants and strengthening of interest of the community for following and partaking in programs of contemporary art and culture in their local context.

At the gallery of the Institute for Contemporary Art will be presented artifacts, results and documentation of the yearlong project City at a Second Glance, organised by PUNKT Association, which took place from March to June 2015 in Rijeka, in collaboration with MMSU; Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, APURI, Academy of Applied Arts, elementary and high schools, mentored by visual artists from Rijeka Milijana Babić, Igor Eškinja, Petra Mrša and Nadija Mustapić.

Part of the project that was realised in Sisak was created in collaboration with APURI, Rijeka; Gallery Miroslav Kraljević, Zagreb and Metallurgical Faculty from Sisak.

Artists from Rijeka have presented their own creative processes and where through mentorship, workshops, dialogue and new video works have been created by creative use of ubiquitous media gadgets; pupils and students have used lenses of their smartphones and cameras thus activating “second sight” to their environment, a gaze that notices, focuses, searches and gives impulse to critical thinking and imagineering of different scripts and images of the reality.

During the project time, there have been, in Rijeka and in Sisak, urban walks organised, accompanied by lectures of specalists of various social and artistic fields, all connected to urban context. Together with workshops, they contributed to questioning and understanding, imagining identities of Rijeka and Sisak environments.

Final results of the process of several months work (23 new videos and photo series) of artists and participants of workshops were equally presented st the exhibition at MMSU, Rijeka between May 18 through June 11, and students exchange works were exhibited in Sisak June 1 through 6, 2015.
