“Ever Since“ is an exhibition of photographs by Igor Kuduz, where he exhibits nearly all of his photographic records made in the period that began by a recent encounter to date. In their emerging, those photos have not been envisioned as a material for the exhibition, they were simply created as records of life and they literally note views, feelings, thoughts, associations, and sometimes events … .As the photographs have been taken by a reflex, so is the exhibition produced ex abrupto, suddenly.
Kuduz have long profiled himself as the artist exhibiting mainly digital recordings of his surroundings. His photos (and videos) are not based on technical or other conventional photographic criteria, they are created with a handy, mainly iPhone camera. They have the purpose of dialogue, or they reflect its lack, they are as photos posted to Facebook, not dedicated to research, nor they carry a certain concept other than personal, primarily observational. Despite that, they note contemporary, quotidian and unpretentious environment, but they talk about it in a deadly serious manner.

Igor Kunduz is a founding member of the Institute of Contemporary Art and long-time co/ worker at the Institute. The exhibition is supported by own funds.
