“Exactly ten years after my departure from Belgrade on a two-year study in Rotterdam the exhibition “Departure – Arrival” is being on show in Zagreb. The exhibition presents the body of works created in Rotterdam on the basis of an incorrect reading of the symbol “HEMA” as the Cyrillic “nema” meaning – there is no, the object flag, all followed by a series of photographs taken in different cities, and a sound piece created in Vienna. All arrivals and departures are always accounted for shibboleth in reading the circumstances in which one finds her/himself, contemplating now lost orientation of where one comes and where one goes as an opportunity to open up new paths.”
