| Just at the time when the Croatian competition for artists under 40 years of age who can apply for Radoslav Putar Award is open, the Institute for Contemporary Art will host Boško Bošković, Program Director of Residency Unlimited.

| This year, the Institute for Contemporary Art organises Radoslav Putar Award for the 16th times, and since last, 2015, award winners who previously have stayed at Headlands Center in California and the International Studio and Curatorial program in New York, now enjoy the residency program at Residency Unlimited in New York, as well as the winners of the other 10 awards from 10 different countries, included in the international network YVAA – Young Visual Artists Award.

| Boško Bošković will present the organization and the program of Residency Unlimited, a program for international artists and curators, who hosts the winners of Radoslav Putar Award from the Croatia and the other 10 award winners from the network YVAA – Young Visual Artists Awards.

Bošković will explain how the residential program at RU functions and how the organization is positioned within the system of the New York contemporary art scene. The experiences of former winners Radoslav Putar Award will also be mentioned in the presentation.

| Boško Bošković is a Program Director at Residency Unlimited, an organization that realizes residential programs for international artists and curators.
He is curator of many exhibitions, such as Interpreting Brooklyn (Sean Wang & Chiang Kai Chun) Los Sures Museum, New York; States of Existence, Parse, New Orleans; Interpreting the Frame, Finnish Museum of Photography, Helsinki; Monument – Movement Center of Photography, New York; Not so Distant Memory, Delaware Center for Contemporary Art & The National Centre for Contemporary Art, St. Petersburg, Russia; Paint me Sculpturaly, Artopia Gallery, Milan; Future Perfect, Dazibao Center for the Arts, Montreal; Power of the Brand, Museum of Contemporary Art, Banja Luka.

He worked in Felix Gonzalez-Torres Foundation on retrospective Specific Object without Specific Form. While he was co-director Sean Kelly Gallery in New York, he worked with artists such as Los Carpinteros, Ilya & Emilia Kabakov and Johan Grimonprez. Boskovic published texts and articles for many of these exhibitions.
