Dear colleagues, collaborators, friends, visitors, and anyone interested!
Although museums, galleries and exhibition spaces are being reopened in Croatia after the release of the COVID-19 protection measures, the Institute for Contemporary Art, Zagreb / Institut za suvremenu umjetnost, located in the Zagreb, Donji Grad district, due to the effects of the earthquake we were also hit by, and in the midst of unclear circumstances in the cultural sector, we are forced to delay programs in our physical space until further notice.
Our public programs will only be maintained virtually for a while.
We have summarized a number of our ongoing projects and all this time that we were publicly withdrawn, we have not stopped working. We will start to inform you regularly about our work.
As no funds have been set up in Croatia to help associations like ours or yours or their employees, we have reached out to colleagues around the world, and have found an understanding of those who have enabled us not to wait in line for employment offices but to work temporarily and ongoing, with conditions that we are never able to achieve here.
You can send all your inquiries to our email.
Thank you for your understanding!
