The Institute of Contemporary Art invites curators, art historians to 40 years of age / born in 1979 and later / to show interest and apply for the member of the Jury of the 2018 Radoslav Putar Award.

Professional Jury of the Radoslav Putar Awards consists of 5 members, one of whom is an artist, last year’s Award Winner.
Since 2018 we invite curators, art historians and art critics to express their interest and apply for participation in the jury’s work.

The jury meets twice. For the first time in the second half of March, when among the received applications of artists who responded to the Competition to Radoslav Putar Award in 2019, they choose 4 finalists, and for the second time, in Rijeka, June 6, 2019, when between 4 finalists they select the Winner of the Prize. At the opening of the exhibition, the Jury will, after reviewing the works and interviewing each of the finalists, select and announce the winner of the 2098 Radoslav Putar Award.
The selected jury member must be available in both jurying rounds!

In the first round of competition and jurying, the meeting is held at the Institute for Contemporary Art in Zagreb, and in the second round, the meeting is held in Rijeka.
The Institute of Contemporary Art covers all travel expenses to the selected member of the jury.

ELIGIBILITY
Right to apply have all art historians, curators and art critics born in 1979 or later, with at least 3 years of working experience, fluent in English.
Applicants may be non-citizens of the Republic of Croatia, but their work must be linked to the Croatian cultural scene.

APPLICATION PROCESS
Applicants must apply to the Open Call in person.
The application must include:
1. Personal information and contacts: name, surname, address, telephone, e-mail, website.
2. Motivation letter
3. The professional CV (obligatory year of birth!), In Croatian and English.
4. Selection from the documentation of previous work

SELECTION
One member of the jury will be selected based on motivation letter, received applications, previous work experience, and possibly an oral conversation.
