90 tekstova iz 90-ih godina

 

U pripremi za izložbu 90e: Ožiljci, koja revidira umjetničke prakse, društvene i političke kontekste 1990-ih u Srednjoj, Jugoistočnoj i Istočnoj Europi, kao i dijelovima Srednje Azije, Institut za suvremenu umjetnost u Zagrebu (ISU ) donosi zbirku tekstova prvobitno arhiviranih u ISU u sklopu Istraživačkog projekta, koji je 1997. koncipirala SCCAN – Mreža Soros centara za suvremenu umjetnost  i tada  financirala Zaklada Otvoreno društvo, New York.

 

Pored tekstova, donosimo i opsežnu, ali nerevidirane bibliografija prikupljenu u sklopu istog projekta.

 

Svrha projekta bila je izbor, prikupljanje i distribucija tekstova o suvremenim umjetničkim praksama u postkomunističkim zemljama u državama u kojima su djelovali Sorosevi centri za suvremenu umjetnost, napisanih 1990-ih. Koordinaciju projekta vodio je SCCA – Zagreb, danas Institut za suvremenu umjetnost, Zagreb.

 

 

Svi tada prikupljeni tekstovi bili su kasnije objavljeni na internetskoj stranici I_CAN, Međunarodne mreže suvremene umjetnosti, kratkotrajne nasljednice SCCAN-a. Nismo intervenirali u bilo koji tekst više nego samo u ispravljanju očitih pogrešaka pri upisu i pravopisu. Svi su tekstovi na engleskom jeziku.

 

 

Povodom prikupljanja tekstova dobili smo dopuštenje od svih autora tekstova da ih  koristimo u profesionalne svrhe i nekomercijalno. Ako sada netko ima drugačija uputstva, obratite nam se na info@institute.hr.

 

Izložbu 90e: Ožiljci organiziraju Institut za suvremenu umjetnost i MMSU – Muzej moderne i suvremene umjetnosti u Rijeci, povodom Europske prijestolnice kulture Rijeka 2020. Kustosica izložbe je Janka Vukmir.

 

Izvorno, otvorenje cjelokupnog projekta , prvobitno planirano za 14.  – 16. svibnja 2020. u MMSU u Rijeci, zbog krize COVID-19, odgođeno je do daljnjega.
